Sport King Split

If King Felix Hernandez played for the Yankees, would he win the triple crown?

He has better stats in basically every category than CC Sabathia this year. Does the fact that Felix plays in a pitchers ballpark with a plus defense surrounding him affect his performance in New York?

@ The Samsquanch: I know Yankee stadium is a hitters park; i was saying that safeco park is a pitchers park. and how the difference in parks could change his stats

@BTelsh: No, I mean triple crown. He already has a chance at cy young. for triple crown, he definately needs wins. for cy young, not necessarily.

Part of the reason his ERA is so low is because he is 3-0 with a 0.35 ERA vs the Yankees in 2010. If he was on the Yankees he wouldn't be able to pitch against them so his ERA would be higher. It's 2.69 against the other teams which would put him 3rd.

But then again he is 2-0 with a 0.00 in Yankee Stadium in 2010. If he pitched more games in that "hitters" park he would definitely win the pitching triple crown.

I would say he would have a very good chance to win the pitching triple crown if he was a Yankee.
