Fishing Theme wedding Any Ideas?
Getting Married in June and my fiance and I are avid fishing fans. Salmon and fly fishing mostly. Looking for ideas. Thanks.
Your menu is pretty well set, but I would have other choices for non-seafood eating people (like me).
Favors could be small bags of Swedish Fish (red fish shaped candy - yummy)
The wedding cake could be topped with a bride and groom holding fishing poles.
As you enter your reception, you can walk through a tunnel of fishing poles held by your bridal party. Think swords at a military wedding.
Bowls of goldfish crackers can be placed on the tables.
I strongly disagree with the idea of placing live animals in bowls on the tables. It is cruel. But you may be able to find some fake fish tanks in a toy store to use as center pieces.
It sounds like a fun, unique theme. Enjoy it!
