Handle Rod Building

can i use flexcoat for my cork handle?

im building a fishing rod and all i have is flexcoat, and i DO NOT FEEL LIKE BUYING MORE THINGS, so am i able to use flexcoat to glue my cork and reelseat to my rod?

I would not recommend it. As this area receives a lot of pressure the flexcoat would not hold up. As you are building your own rod, Why would you cut corners on one of the most critical failure points. Use epoxy, it not that expensive and you'll have a keepsake for years. Use flexcoat and you may have to repair in a few years.
