Does anyone know of a fish that is black and white that I could keep as a pet?

I want a black and white fish that is semi-easy to take care of. If you know any give me the name and if its a fresh water or salt water fish. i would prefer fresh water. Include any info if you want. Thanks.

Depends on your tank set up of course, but the following have that black/white combination, ALL are freshwater:

Black Panda Moor Goldfish - needs at least 20 US gallons, coldwater and well filtered, for one:

Penguin Tetra - shoaling tropical fish, can be a real fin nipper, keep in a group of at least 6 in at least 25 US gallons:

Black Neon Tetra - shoaling tropical fish, fairly peaceful, keep in a group of at least 6 in at least 15 US gallons:

Dalmation Molly - large boisterous livebearer, tropical and does best in slightly brackish water, can get up to 4"-6", keep in a group of males (at least 5) to avoid breeding, to breed needs a much larger tank and the ratio of 1 male per 2-3 females. Needs to be in at least 20 US gallons:

Chain Loach - small but VERY active loosely-shoaling tropical fish. Do NOT keep with long-finned or timid fish and keep in groups of at least 4-6 in at least 20 US gallons. This one of the smallest Loaches available, but don't underestimate it!

All the above need mature and fully cycled tanks. That's just a small sample of some black and white fish out there!
