Is it possible a bird changes his feathers color in the sun + dehydration?
4 days ago my bird (a grey cockatiel) just flew away. Today I found a grey cockatiel flying somewhere near, the thing is that his feathers color are much lighter. Mine has a yellow face with orange cheeks, this one I could not even see any yellow or orange in his face. It looks like mine but older. I wish to know if this bird could be my bird..?

Well i found that when i first got my little budgie his colors started to look pail. Then i got him some vitamins and what not that were suppose to help with his feathers. And now he looks healthy and his feathers are vibrant in color.
So i would say its possible.. hes not getting the right type of food, after all hes domestic.. so he could be lacking in the right type of nutrients and vitamins, resulting in color fading.
Is there any way you can catch him?? a bird treat? of take his bird cage out side and leave it there.. he might come back to it if he sees it because hes familiar with it.
